17th-Century Isle of Wight County: A Living History Event

Join us at Historic St. Luke’s for a 17th-century living history weekend with a special guest presentation on Historic St. Luke’s most revered patron, Joseph Bridger. Period vendors, modern food vendors, and more will be available to the general public for the price of general admission.

There will be a concert associated with this event. The ticket sales will be separate and those interested are encouraged to purchase their tickets prior to the event. Please check out the separate Facebook event detailing the concert by the Locrian Consort.

Schedule:
9:30 a.m. Site opens.
10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Tour of the church building (begins at 10 a.m.)
11 a.m. – Noon 1680s Lay Church Service (Reenactment)
Noon – 1 p.m. Tour of the church building (begins at noon)
1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Aracheologist Alain Outlaw presenting on archaeology at Whitemarsh Plantation, home of Col. Joseph Bridger, the wealthiest patron of the church building.
2 p.m. – 3 p.m. Tour of the church building (begins at 2 p.m.)
3 p.m. – 4 p.m. Mead Tasting by Silver Hand Meadery. Tickets sold separately.
4 p.m. – 5 p.m. Concert by the Locrian Consort. Tickets sold separately. Please check out the separate Facebook Event for more details.

Period vendors and reenactors will be present throughout the day. There will also be a food truck.
