Christ Episcopal Church Hospitality House

During Smithfield’s Olden Days Celebration, June 25, Christ Episcopal Church will provide a shelter from the heat and a place to rest. Church tours will be conducted, exhibits displayed, and Michael Podesta’s religious art will be presented by the artist.  There will be children’s activities, cool drinks provided and an opportunity to just sit and meditate in this lovely historic church.

At noon, trumpeter Joel Joyner, Smithfield High School Band Director, will lead a New Orleans style parade to the church, and then deliver a talk about this music.

The Solid Rock Bluegrass Gospel Band will give a concert on the North Lawn (Wharf Hill) side of the church at 5:00pm – chairs provided.
