Chippokes Plantation Programs for National Kid's to Park Day: Children’s Fishing Tourney 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. $2 per child/$6 per family For children 12 and under. Register and pay at the Visitor Center. Cost includes all supplies to fish. Meet at the Footbridge on College Run Trail. Chippokes at Play 1 p.m.-2 p.m. Join us to see what games children of the past would have played for fun. Test your gracefulness with a game of graces or try a race with the stick and hoop game. Meet outside the Jones-Stewart Mansion. Jones-Stewart Mansion Tour 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Visit our antebellum Mansion. The last tour begins at 4:15 p.m. Meet on the back porch of the Jones-Stewart Mansion. Fossil Walk 3 p.m.-4 p.m. Calling all fossil seekers! Join an interpreter at the River House parking lot for an adventure through the abundant fossil beds at Chippokes. Meet in the Museum parking lot.
