National Tourism Month Celebration Breakfast
This year we are going to shake things up a bit! We would still like YOU to look around your establishment and nominate YOUR best employee by sending us the name, when that person usually works and a brief description as to why they are your Hospitality Hero of Choice either by email (jwinslow@iwus.net) or hard copy. BUT DON’T TELL THAT EMPLOYEE! We will be traveling around to each of your organizations to surprise them with an invitation for them (AND YOU!) to attend our Hospitality Hero of the Year Breakfast!....and we’ll be capturing it all on film! We’ll let you know when we are coming so you can be in on the action! The deadline for nominations is May 1st.
May 16th, 2016, the CVB will celebrate National Tourism Week by honoring our HOSPITALITY HEROES at that breakfast….to offer special recognition to those who have made an such an exceptional impression on our guests. The breakfast will be held at the Smithfield Center from 8am-10am and will feature great food, a fun “Family Feud” style game show, and of course our awards presentation. All Hospitality Heroes will have their picture taken and displayed both at the event and on a large “LOVE” sign that will be installed at the Visitor Center. (As a matter of fact, we will be taking LOTS of photos of people in the local hospitality business to represent the “Faces of Tourism” on this sign!) Also being honored that day will be our Community Ambassadors and the winners of our annual photo contest.
