Quarter Lane by Candlelight

Experience Chippokes' Historic Quarter Lane by the warm glow of candlelight. This interpreter-led hike will begin in the 1830's River House and end at the Jones-Stewart Mansion. The historic buildings, residences, and structures along Quarter Lane speak volumes about the rich history of early Virginia and the Unites States and it's easy to imagine seeing figures from the past in the shifting shadows of the candlelight. Pre-registration is not required for this program. A limited number of lanterns are provided, so you are welcome to bring your own flashlight if you wish. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring along water and bug spray.
